Defecation's Discography

Defecation is a death metal / grindcore side project formed by Righteous Pigs guitarist Mitch Harris and then Napalm Death drummer Mick Harris in 1987. They released their first album Purity Dilution in 1989. This was to be their only release for fourteen years, as Mitch joined Napalm Death the same year. The project was put on hiatus in 1991 when Mick left both bands to form Scorn.

Dismember's Discography

Stockholm, Sweden (1988 – present)

Founded 1988 in Stockholm, Sweden, Dismember were among those responsible for death metal’s big break through. The debut album, “Like An Ever Flowing Stream” released in 1991, clearly showed that Dismember are an uncompromising band which resulted in their rise to cult status within a short period of time after the album took the scene by storm. Extensive touring with bands like Death,Morbid Angel and Cannibal Corpse showed that Dismember are a live force to be reckoned with and the number of fans grew steadily. Spurred on by success, it was easy to commence the songwriting for the next album. However, the band then released the 5-track EP, “Pieces”, and went out on tour again instead with Napalm Death and Obituary. They played for thousands of fans throughout Europe thus reinforcing their status as one of the best live bands on earth.

Morbid Angel is a Tampa, Florida, United States-based Death Metal band assembled in 1984. They, along with Deicide, Death, Possessed, Autopsy, Suffocation, Obituary,Massacre and a handful of others were crucial in the development of the death metal genre and its standards. Their songs are complex in arrangement, owing to the considerable technical skills of both guitarist Trey Azagthoth and drummer Pete Sandoval (who also played in the grindcore/death metal band Terrorizer).
